Beware. Possible Virus Attempt
Sometimes when I create a trade or bump a trade on TF2 Outpost a couple of seconds later people add me to their friends. They then say their friend wants to trade with you but can't add you because of a steam error. They then give you a link to a website which when I visited said there was a possible virus and my safety blocked it automatically. The website is called Steam Comunity.com. BEWARE OF THESE BOTS AND DON'T VISIT THE WEBSITE

Probably because you randomly clicked on a link someone sent you, why would you do that?

I don't know maybe it's because you never checked the forum to see if anybody else reported it. (There are about 5000 threads about this here. It's nothing new.)

Yup, the phishing is back folks. I am pretty sure they aren't sending viruses also ._. It's a link which looks like a steam link and when clicking on it asks you to login to steam to view said person's profile. Doing so takes your log in infomation, I don't know how it will work though if it ONLY takes steam login info as most people have steam guard enabled, maybe the link asks for email login too lol.

Don't click the links, fuck it, don't accept the friend requests if their profile is private, just block them, thats what I am doing.
