A scammer is someone who actually steals your item, whether it be lying about giving you money after you trade them a hat in a paypal trade, or running off with gift wrap that you've given them to wrap an untradable item. This instance is called lowballing. Let's not get the two things mixed up.

Secondly, if you no longer wish to receive steam offers, then you can take your trade offer link from out of the settings. That way, you will receive much less trade offers, as that's the way many people like to use the trade offer service.

Third, Outpost won't die because of trade offers. That last sentence isn't really needed.
