Is it ok to put a link on from dispenser.tf on your outpost trade ? So people can still buy from you even if you are offline. I saw some people are doing that. Especially the game sellers. But i want to be sure. I need to see a reply from an admin here. If the answer is negative , i also want an explanation why the game sellers are allowed and not getting banned because of that.

The 4th rule says:

No advertising. We do not allow users to advertise any other services or websites. You may, however, post links to other trades on this website, as well as links to relevant YouTube videos or related images.

It is confusing though. Somehow the site allows game sellers to do this. If it is legal i will do that too. I just need an answer from an admin.

You are not allowed to post links like that. We require items being put up for trade to be in your inventory, especially because we cannot control third party bots.

As for the others possibly doing this, they simply have not been reported for doing so and we do not comb the site looking for rule breakers. When they get reported and a moderator gets to review it, they will take appropriate action.

So are dispenser.tf bot links allowed or not? can a site admin who deals with report tickets confirm this please

yeah i was asking for that, maybe i couldnt explain myself good enough :D cause so many game sellers attach their dispenser.tf bot links on their trade posts. can we do that for items ?

I reported a random trade selling games with dispenser.tf links as a test (sorry to the user). The ticket was closed, and the trade is still open with the links. It seems like they don't mind, but I'd like an official answer.

Please understand that the moderators receive thousands of reports a day and have to get to them in a orderly fashion while juggling everything in their lives at the same time. Each member of the staff is a volunteer and is not getting paid, which means that life does indeed have to come first for some, including jobs or school.
