Buying from a sharker
Hello, I recently got an offer from a guy which is banned from tf2outpost for sharking. Well he confessed and he did not shark the unusual which I'm looking too buy.
If I have evidence that he did not scam that specific unusual which I'm looking too buy is that still against the rules? I don't really see any rule that even says I can't buy from sharkers.
Any answer is appreciated. Thank you for reading!

You just cannot trade known scammers on SteamRep, you should be fine.

This is what it says on his steamrep profile:

Joined Steam: 2012-07-17
Profile Privacy: Public
Trade Ban Status: Banned
VAC Status: Normal
Friendship Status: Sign in to check
Online Status: Online

Doesn't say anything about scamming or sharking but he is trade banned but I guess that will dissapear after his trade ban is gone, which is 6:th march.

So basically that means I'm buying a non-sharked unusual from a sharker. He is not marked a scammer/sharker on steamrep, only trade ban from valve.

I strongly advise you to not trade with alts of trade banned users.

If he is trade banned, then how do you plan on trading him?

It's not an alternative account, he is trade banned himself but the ban expires soon.

Buying clean hats off sharkers is not against the rules.
