video adds on outpost are so loud adn you cant pause or turn them down?
So your adds are now playing adn there is no way to turn teh volume down or pause them etc. It never used to do this but omfg its so so loud. I am having a real real hard time here. Why force us to watch video adds with no way of turning them down or pausing them etc.

I could understand an add every once in a while but an add every single time you clikc on a trade 2 seconds after you click on it. forever....

I have never seen this done like this on anywebsite no matter how shady so why on yours.

Is there a way to stop it I shouldnt have to mute my whole pc??? just to trade on your site.:rfacepalm:

I cant listen to music adn trade now... that sucks... i get done playing and believe it or not the adds are like 10 times louder than missles adn grenades in tf2 so it wakes people up... etc.... Its getting biblical in proportion...

well me neither untill a week or so ago. Scared teh shit out of me made me go deaf. They had pause buttons on them and mute. that would work for that add but next add poof back up to full volume x100. Then they stopped having adds for me for a few days now they are back believe it or not louder than ever and there is no pause button or mute or volume. Flash player itself is a fucking asshole for not having volume options when you right click on it. Anyway This is litterally the worst experience i have ever had on the internet.... not trying to exaggerate etc. but yeah i am serious. I cant listen to music on youtube while trading anymore, I cant go from playing tf2 to check my trades without having really really loud adds jump up adn they are unstoppable you cant mute or turn down the volume. I just want to know why. Its really shady shady shady shady.

Yeah, this needs to be fixed. I like to leave Outpost open in the Steam overlay while I play TF2, but I can't do that anymore because of the endless audio/video ads. Between this and the phishing, I'm considering switching to Bazaar.

I agree 100%. These ads make it so I can't leave outpost open anymore. Over this past week, they have been very annoying and they keep playing with no way of stopping them or turning them down. One ad plays right after another....

I finally resorted to adblock. I have never had such an ad problem before that I needed to use it, but I can't even go to a single page on outpost without a loud ad popping up. No way to mute or pause it, and it's on every single page. Used to just be occasional audio ads on there but now it's every single ad. Literally my only other option would be to never have the volume turned on.

Seriously, there's a line between getting necessary income from sponsors and annoying users into no longer wanting to use the service.
