Unusual looks clean..?
Although it's really weird, my unusual shows only I am the first owner, and I painted it, so it shows my name again, so what I'm trying to figure out, even though it's beneficial for me, I'd like to know if there is anyway to fix this? I'm not trying to be a dishonest trader since I am not the first owner, my friend bought it off the market and then traded it to me, so if buying on the market should change it then my friend's name should be before mine.... any ideas? Not really asking for a fix, but if anyone could explain, or if they could tell me how this happened.

There is no way to change the owner history of an item.

Well, that is a given, which is why I'm so baffled, my item's history is completely gone! Other than my name, I just checked it on tf2outpost to see the history and it only shows me! and I'm 100% sure I didn't unbox it.

if your friend never logged into TF2Outpost, it won't show his name.

Ah......... then probably the person selling on the market didn't log onto tf2outpost either.

No, i used to own an unusual that i bought from a friend that never logged into outpost: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2332441161,30109,5 As you can see, under my name they is an ID with several number which is my friend. I also have bought plenty of unusuals from the steam market. This being one of them: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2414977713,437,5 All the history is still there. Lastly, i have also owned some unusuals that i was the only owner when i got them: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2273219406,988,5 . I bought this hat along with another from a private profile. (Which looking back now i shouldnt have even though they were clean and trustworthy, later on they made their profile and everything) On the barnstormer i showed up as the only one their but on the salty there was a few others on the history but not the person i bought it from. Perhaps they unboxed the barnstormer. In conclusion i think private profiles may i have something to do with it but im not entirely sure... hope this helped! :tank:
