Hijacking in general
There here to stay it looks like. Everyone has been affected by it or has a freind that has get use to it. In fact why not try and do your best to make it more difficult for the hijackers like reporting them. In fact you can even pull off some very funny tricks on the hijackers themselves, that is if you have a mind to. But to lay the blame at one trading site or valve and steam in general is not constructive as the earlier post reply stated. I think after the ddos attack yesterday valve/steam in general has a lot of problems but to jump the boat when you might be able to actually help is senseless, not constructive. Like I said make it fun. When you really stop to think about it theres a lot you can do to these pitiful creeps other than complain! IMO only.

Posts like this are not constructive. Don't just say something should be done about phishing, say what would you do? Nobody said TF2Outpost doesn't want to or doesn't do anything to combat phishing, we're sick and tired of them like everyone else. It's not as easy to just put an end to it as you may think while the root problem is left unfixed. And unfortunately that is out of our hands.
You misunderstood entirely, I was referring to the earlier post about the fellow jumping off the boat : to quote:Keep up the shitty work everybody, Can you imagine Amazon/com being in the same clusterfuck position as vale and outpost. They would go bankrupt. Well, everu company has their judgment day. I am jumping off the boat now.: Actually my post was intended as a hats off and in defense of outpost and all that it is doing to combat the problem at the same time making a point that you can actually turn the tables around on the phishers in general have a bit of fun with them and thoroughly piss them off. For starters act dumb. Say something like ok im signing into steam. Crap i thought i was already signed in. This will get thier lips smakin waiting for me to take the bait. Then start calling them constantly on the voice chat. This is just for starters get back at them is all I'm saying. My post was never meant to be misconstrued in anyway as a knock down on outpost in fact it was in defense of it.

I missed the point the first time I read your post, sorry about that. It seemed to me like you were saying that TF2Outpost blaming Valve is not helping or isn't constructive. Well nobody is actually blaming them, it's just that they're the only ones who have the power to make a change and so far we can see no advancement.

Another legitimate account has been Hijacked. Outpost is a nice store in a crack neighborhood. Eventually the crackheads will get to you and nobody will visit the store.
admin lock the thread this is going the wrong direction
