why hasn't this trade been closed?
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10817629 this trade's owner hasn't been on in just under a year therefore doesn't respond to any offers. I've sent in 2 separate support tickets to get it closed and to no avail it still hasn't been closed. i'm curious as to why it hasn't been closed

Unfortunately - once an organisation promises a service, they can't just take it away, until the end of the contract. A number of premium users will end their "Promised" subscription by the 10th of April - from which time a number of dormant trades/accounts will automatically have their ads closed (For non-paying users - traders are closed after a period of inactivity of a week).

By next year - the majority of users on premium will be "more committed / serious" traders - as they will be on a paid subscription - Thus these issues will iron out over the course of time.

You should report inactive trades - they will be closed.

The report will be assessed when the assigned staff member views it. If the issue is not dealt with and closed, then it did not meet the criteria of the staff member for being against the rules.

it doesn't matter any longer since the trade was closed also all he did was switch the report from open to close nothing else
We cannot view your Outpost tickets either, maybe give a link to the trade(s) so we can see what you were reporting.
As Blue Screen stated. If a trade is old and inactive, it can and should be reported. But Outpost will check the users' activity on site before taking any action. Some people simply don't reply in their own trades, therefore one should not assume the user is inactive based on that only.
