Is this a scam?
Ok, so I have a trade up for selling Riptide GP 2 for 2 keys... In my add I state to add me for quick trade... One trader who has 300+ rep on steamtrades decides to trick me into buying his game, instead of me selling mine... It is well known with premium users especially that adds which are on the left hand side means that is what the person is selling... I have no reason to believe this was a mistake made by him.... I resent a trade offer saying what was he at sending me to buy his game... He decline, a mate of mine messaged him on steam stating what had happened he didn't reply to him he just deleted him... Then he sends me a trade offer after he saw I had left him negative feedback on steamtrades saying this:

"I am sorry for the mistake, I didn't realize until your friend added me and with your negative comment on steam trades too (which I consider really unfair because I have never traded and dealt with you). I sent you the trade offer in the late night here and I didn't realize you were selling too.
Apologies for the confusion. I keep my threads in all the websites opened, and as soon as I find a buyer, I send the buyer to you,so we finally can have a happy end. I'll show you I'm not a little kid disturbing to another trade partners (Also I won't -rep you on steamtrades, I think that is bad behaviour).

I'll be in touch with you as soon as I have a buyer!

Have a nice week!"

I take this as a scam as he is unwilling to return my keys to me, as he knows how hard that game in particular is to sell... He completely refuses to give me my keys back in a trade where he tricked me into buying his game...

How many of you would consider this scam, because I most certainly do... Tricking users into buying your games instead of the other way around is a joke, in trade offer when I am busy in game (as I was at the time) I don't pay attention to who's keys etc especially since I knew this person traded often so surely I would not expect him to screw me like that, but he did...

I don't consider this a scam. I think you should understand the trading system better before you accept a trade offer. I'm sure if you submit it though it'll be counted as a scam. Seems everything these days is the responsibility of the 'other' party.

So then if I invite you to trade, I add some items... Then I remove an item yet you accidentally accept and trade goes through, that also wouldn't be a scam?
