Can anything more be done about all these revoke scammers?
Seems more and more of these are popping up, and are WAY too often overlooked. Too many games are being listed that are obviously a scammer, and yet are just left open. While it's easy to spot a scammer for most people who trade often, for others that don't, it is a terrible situation. Sometimes made worse by the fact that many people who are established are buying games from the scammer for low, then reselling the game for a profit. Effectively continuing the cycle over and over again.

Reporting people doesn't do much half the time since it's hard for mods to monitor everything and OP mods unfortunately really can't do much until after the fact. As well, I understand that mods/admins have other things to do so they can't fix everything. Hate to turn this into some suggestion topic, but that's not really my intention. It just seems, to me at least, that OP is somewhat overlooking this situation. Does anybody else feel that? Just wish that maybe there's another way.

-Maybe some sort of new rep system like steamtrades has in place with the +/- with comments, I know before it was spammed, but something more can be done. Seems the current heart isn't too established and usually ignored. Also maybe a consistent NOTICE up top of each game trade saying to beware of scammers and revokers.

-Some sort of "probationary period" to make it so someone who just newly joined OP can't list and trade games until a certain time period. Or a "system" where you can't list a game for trade unless that user has ~25games+ on the account. The easiest way to spot someone who may be selling revoked games.

Anyone else really wish more can be done? Not just with the OP mods, but on the whole OP community. I do personally go out of my way to warn others and call out possible scamming trades, and alot of others do too, so hopefully people all over have no issues in getting together. Revoke scammers have always been out there, now just seems so much more prevalent these days it's a shame. Just really want to know what is, if anything, is being done currently to deter the scams. Any other ideas or thoughts? Agree, disagree? Thanks and GL guys... Hope all goes well into OPs future.

I would like to see the Steam Level next to the name. Can you imagine to get scammed by a level 30 account? I can not. Can you imagine to get scammed by a level 2 account? I can.
maybe you guys should use common sense? if most traders sell dayz for 15 keys and then some unknown traders sell the same game for less than 10 keys, that should be enough not to get tricked and scammed.

Yes. This is mentality that really hurts some Steam users in the long run. They look at the Steam Level and think that if it's high then they must absolutely be a legit trader to deal with. On the other hand it is a scammers dream to get an account with a high level. Less people (like you) think they are scammers and them they run rampant.

I never buy games from steam profiles belove level 20, and non-donators on outpost, ppl with low reputation, ppl with >50 games on steam. I have ~100 game on steam, 32 giweaways on steam gifts, and i sold about 100 game to my friends (without profit). I got all game from trades, traders from tf2op, and never got any problem with games.

The thing is while most do, alot of people don't. We know this because we trade often. They shouldn't settle with "should be enough" since that's never enough. While yes the trader should know a scammer right away, the fact that that scammer is even allowed to stay on and keep his trade up is fairly disappointing. OP shouldn't just allow that scammer to keep promoting and trading. Certain parts of OP is fairly outdated, can't hurt to update a bit. Even a little notice can go a long way. Just seems a little as if they do overlook it. More can be done.

I never got my steam gift revoked so I'm curious. Will my account get suspended if my activated game got revoked?

No, just email support if your copy gets revoked and they should restore your items.

With the amount of tickets steam support get and the amount of items they have to restore you would think steam may add a further restriction for buying tradable gifts like they have on the market place.

Nothing can be done about it except reporting the obvious alt/throwaway accounts selling bulk copies of dayz/arma 3/watchdogs/darks souls 2 etc at a ridiculous price. See a trade like it report it to the mods on site via a ticket. Trades like this one should be reported http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19217087

If you look at the current trade I linked even though many people are commenting that the games will be revoked you always get silly people who either can not read or do not care. If users are knowingly buying games like this from trades like that and then reselling them there should be some kind of punishment for that also...... temp ban maybe. (I say this with caution because sometimes its not obvious what is fraudulent bought game and what is not) in the case of that trade i gave as an example you will notice multiple warning from people who know, then you will see a user like Delp comment "add me to discuss fast please!!", then you check his trades and guess what he is reslling DayZ copies he bought off the user http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/633936 despite all the warnings he bought them to resell.

Nothing can be done as there is other sites where the fraudsters can bulk sell these games, then those games get offered on outpost by people who may not be aware its a future revoked game.

These games can pass through many innocent peoples inventory before it finally gets revoked.

Steam need to fix the problem like they done with steam market restriction when they stopped the majority of the carded keys being bought and sold.

Fix such as if you add a new payment method extend the time that the gift takes to become tradable. Or even remove the option to buy games as a gift if you just added a new payment method for 2 weeks or something idk
