how i got scammed
i know how to report a scammer and i did report the scammer but i lost 15 keys and pissed off right now.is there any way of getting my unusual back? i was on out post tf and some guy sent me a trade and he said he would give me 2 20$ steam code if i did. oviously i believed him now he sold it and might get bann but i dont realy care if he did i just want my unusual back. i found the guy with my item but i am pretty sure he wont give it back unless i pay him which suck cause it took me enough pain to get an unusua in the first place. now i have to do it all over agin. is there a way that i can replace 15 keys? the scammer:https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/Kriptonite123/

There is no way to get your hat back other than talking to the scammer himself and convincing him to pay you back.

This happen to someone that added me out of the blue while I was in a server. They didn't get thier hat back but the scammer got a trade ban. At the very least file a steamrep report that is of course if you happen to get screenshotz of the trade and chat and get the scammer a trade ban. Man I feel for yas. This one has been around a long time but so few know not to do these things. There should be mandatory reading provided before anyone opening a new account and a nagging popup every 3 months that go out to all. Even more often if needed. I feel so sick when I see people, good people lose a hard earned unusual or any item to a frekin loser of a scam artist. Even if the nag were to be glosseed over at the very least it's there as a warning.

Check your activity and see if you can pull up an old chat from the loser before its gone and screenshot it.

I also got scammed with some sort of " I will give a steam wallet code thing ". better sell them in form of keys than a wallet code. I report him to support.steampowered.com and he got banned then IDK why valve give him probation status and his ID become normal again without banned status, knowing he can scam again without that status really pissed me off.

that scammer claims he had no keys n plus i was get a key profit so i believed him cause on his account he had commmets about +rep paypal trade n so on. probly comments form his fellow scammer.

i am currentl tryig to get it back. trying to talk some guy out of selling it on outpost and to just give it to me. might not wortk but it's worth a try
