Trading with user who has an Unconfirmed Report on SR.
Someone left me an offer on outpost and when I checked him up he was clean except for an unconfirmed report on steamrep. It was related to trading with a marked scammer. He apparently sold an item to a scammer. Is it safe for me to trade with this person or will I get banned? Thank you in advance for your response :)

If the report is valid then you should avoid trading with the user.

If the report does not follow the proper format and not enough evidence has been provided is it safe then?

You should be careful because if you misjudge the report and do it then the trade will be accounted for.

No like say someone has 1 unconfirmed report. The person who submitted the report has zero screen shots or chat convos as evidence for his case. Would it be safe in that scenario to trade if everything else was clean except for that unproved report or would it be best to still stay away?

Reports with no chats/screenshots can still be valid.

Sorry I wasn't beaing clear enough. If a report has 0 evidence for a scam claim was what I meant to say. High game hours, high inventory value, high steam level no bans / reports on any other trading servers with 1 unconfirmed report with 0 evidence on SR. I'm not facing this scenario atm but incase I do in the future I would like to know if it will be safe for me to trade with that person. Thanks once again for your reply!
