Banned for relisting?
So, today I was banned for relisting.. I couldn't find where it says we NEED prices for certain hats and effects on our outpost trades, all I found about relisting was "No relists. Relisting is creating multiple trades for the same purpose or listing the same item in multiple trades excessively. You cannot have multiple trades open with the same goal, and you cannot have an excessive number of trades open for the same item." Unless I'm miss understanding, I don't see anything about specific prices for anything.

From what I understand,

Quicksellers put prices on the items they're buying.
You put up a trade asking for offers on the hats you listed or ANY other hat.

By saying you want ANY other hat and putting up multiple trades for different hats, you look like you're just trying to get better coverage/advertisement for your trades.

In short, if you're quickbuying multiple unusuals that require multiple trades, put up a price.

@Cyanide Ok, I didn't think I was suppose to be banned, but I'm not the one in charge. Also, I didn't think it'd matter if it said offer any hat, I didn't think about that when making the trades. Anyway, thank you for explaining it and not just telling me that I need to supply prices.

A similar thing happened to me, i had all my trades closed for advertising! It was only a link to trade.tf with my trades so that people could instantly trade me and i didn't even put it there, trade.tf automatically created that. This one i kind of understand.

Another reason they gave was relisting, this one i completely don't understand, i never listed the same item twice.
Also, they say that you cannot have multiple trades for the same goal, so if i wanted refined in all my trades, don't they have the same goal? Then go close all the hundreds of trades asking multiple times for refined.

@Merndy

Prices do not come into consideration for reslisting, and after looking at your trades, it does very much look as if they were relists. From the looks of it, you don't seem to have any specific interest in the individual hats you've listed seeing how you've filled out as many trades as you possibly could, kept the exact same notes for each of the trades, and the statement about looking for any other hat would tell me you picked arbitrary hats to place and are just making multiple general trades for purchasing any hat out there.

@NoChance

We do not allow users to link to other sites, which alone would be a reason to close your trades. The relisting portion of your trades comes from multiple trades linking to a single unrelated trade listing, which would both need to be separate from the rest of your trades and on our site.

Fair enough, but that link is convenient both for me and for the buyers as all the items across my outpost trades are there for the same price i write in the outpost trade. I'm not trying to advertise anything, i wouldn't even gain anything if i was advertising trade.tf. I'm also not trying to fool anyone so don't see why the advertising rule applies here.

With that said, i know those are the rules and i will follow them now but couldn't i just get a warning, allowing me some time to remove the links? Instead of simply closing the trade, just a suggestion i leave.

Also, i assumed those links were allowed since trade.tf just puts them there when creating automatically a trade. That's not outpost fault though.
We have strict advertisement rules, if does not matter the user's intent. We also don't have a warning system, trade closure = warning.

Like you said, it is not our fault a third-party site refers to itself by embedding a message in one of their tools.
