Regarding co-owned stuff
I used to trade with a friend: Nieroda (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/Nieroda)

He has been marked by steamrep scamming under alt accounts, he has currently quit trading as he said he is taking this time to focus on more important things, and promises that he is innocent and will appeal the ban, soon, but just not now, as he is working on more important stuff as already mentioned.

As he has taken this hiatus in trading, all hats are co-owned, however after his mark, it is all mine, automatically.

Will i face any consequences when he gives me the hats? I will not be paying him any sum through paypal or any other methods, its just being given.

I was banned for trading with Ethika. no trades with Nieroda have occured since his mark, and i havent been banned for trading with Nieroda.

They must of added it on as extra proof,
Either way, the rules don't bend because he's your friend or gives you the items for free, trading with a marked user is a bannable offense as stated in the rules.

If you're still concerned, create a ticket.

You should NEVER trade with a marked scammer, no matter what they say. Knowingly trading with marked scammers can result in a permanent ban.
