What exactly qualifies as a "view" on a trade?

One of my trades has over 1000 views, does that mean that many people viewed it while scrolling through the search page or did they all specifically click on my trade where they can see the message/offer section?

The view counter only goes up when a person clicks onto your trade. It does not count people scrolling through the search page.
