How would I track down an item if it is on the market and I can't seem to find it listed as ever having being traded on outpost before?
How would I track down an item if it is on the market and I can't seem to find it listed as ever having being traded on outpost before?

I've been chasing a Kill-A-Watt Ground Control for a while now but there is one that was on the market (now taken off) that has eluded me ever since I started looking.

Any suggestions?

If the page is still cached by Google, try image searching the user's avatar and hope that a third party site has scanned their backpack with the hat in it otherwise you're out of luck.

alternatively - you can use this plugin http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/25042-guide-how-to-find-item-histories-on-scm/ - i use it and it works for most items unless its in a private bp
