Trading with Scammers
I was wondering if trading with scammers will get you banned on both Steam and TF2OP? I've seen some people got banned on TF2OP stating that "This is your 2nd time trading with marked scammers, and now this is PERNAMENT." If so, how does one know who traded with a scammer? Do the admins have some kind magic powers? (lol). And how do I know if the item I'm trading isn't scammed?

I assume the ban is quite situation, if you are caught knowledgeably trading with a marked scammer you will not receive a warning, however, in most cases you receive up to two warnings.

What if they are a glass community bot? I traded with a bot that were marked as a scammer...

Trading with a marked scammer, bot or not, Is still an offense.

Trade rule #8 No trading with scammer alts. We do not encourage our users trading with scammers, and you should be careful to not trade with obvious alternate accounts of scammers. Please check the user's Steam profile and SteamRep status before trading with them.

Well obviously, if its a BOT, then they might've been like ''Oh this is crap, you need EXACTLY [insert amount of ref] JUST FOR THIS ITEM, You know what, scammer bot.''

i just bought a unusual off market and the history is 3/4 scammers. i want to bring this up becasue i dont know what to do with it. will i get in trouble?

So long as you didn't buy the unusual from a marked scammer you're fine.

Well, how do you know if someone, who sells something on scm, is a marked scammer? All you can see prior the transaction is the profile picture!

So long as you didn't buy the unusual from a marked scammer you're fine.
but the last person to own this [the seller] was a marked scammer, it was not a trade transaction it was off market

So you have to do that EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME you trade with someone... Yea, should be nice, especially if your a major trader.
