Private profile for a while = Perm ban?
Okay, so I've put my profile on private for few days, and for some reason, I'm suddenly banned from TF2Outpost. Funny part is that I didn't even use the site when my profile was private.

I've always been aware that I'm not allowed to use the service when my profile is private. Which basically means I've followed all the rules.. so why am I banned technically?

Honestly it is just ridiculous how TF2Outpost keeps stalking people for public profiles. I change my PERSONAL Steam settings, temporary, and I get banned from outpost..

Could someone explain to me, why private profiles/backpacks are so "critical" thing?
Does private profile = scammer or what?

I'm just confused.

And if any of TF2Outpost admins could unban me, since I pretty much never broke any rules.

Main Rules #5: No private profiles or backpacks. You will be subject to a permanent ban until you make your profile and backpack public again. This includes both your game-specific and Steam inventories.

There are no exceptions. If you keep private settings and someone reports you then you will be banned.
