Am I scamming people?
MY TRADE: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21917090#latest
First off I would like to state what it is I am talking about. Recently, I have started up a "Quicksell" trade on Outpost. So far I have doing fine, nobody I have traded with has seemed unhappy with their trade. As of right now, I have 0 keys because I sold what was left of them to buy dota 2 shizzle wizzle. Don't ask. However, I had made a deal for an unusual prior to buying stuff, but that isnt the point.

Its just, after reading on countless websites and even some discussions here, I have started to worry about the integrity of these quicksell trades. Mine included. So I just wanted to know, Am I part of this bad side of the tf2 trading economy?

Am I ruining the Unusual trading system by opening up my trade?

I have seen many other quicksell trades who say "60% off for ___ effect/hat" and that pisses me off just like everyone else. However, the lucrativness of these operations are astounding, and I wanted to try them out for myself. In my trade, I have not set any set percentage off of my trades regardless of the hat. I also have said that I will give an offer on ANY hat. However the more I think about it, I just can't seperate myself and what I do and the other Quicksell buyers that buy these hats for so much off. I mean, in the end our goals are the same right? On top of that, we are using the same or similar methods of getting there.

My friends call me a scammer but, as long as both sides are satisfied with their deal, how can it be a scam?

Alot of sellers will also make an offer on your trade that GROSSLEY overprices their unusual. I don't believe it has happened on my offers exactly, but I have had 1 or 2 people that preteded that their hat was worth more than it really was. This is also very evident on other larger trades with hundreds or even thousands of views.
So
Are the sellers just as at fault than the quicksell buyers?

Finally, is it possible to hold a proffesional, profitable evironment for both parties by use of a quicksell trade?

Specifically regarding my trade or just the topic of quickselling in general, well thought out responses are greatly appreciated. Even just suggestions on what I can do better with my trade are accepted.

Thanks for reading,
SquiddehB

Quickbuying/selling never has been, nor will it ever be considered scamming. Scamming strictly requires one side to lie/manipulate the other person involved and includes them not upholding their side of an agreement. If both sides are happy with the deal and are walking away with everything that was promised to them, there isn't anything to question.

As for the effects of quickbuying on the market, it's undeniable that it has had some impact, but what impact it has is so up in the air for debate that I could talk all day about it. People clearly have mixed feelings, and it's best to avoid worrying about it if you're finding luck in it.

You should close your trades, since you don't have keys in stock, it's agaist the rules. You can reopen it later, when you have keys.
