Banned for 3 months now and still no response!
I've been banned 3 months ago for private inventory although I didn't log into TF2Outpost during that period and when I logged it without even posting a new trade I got banned.
I've made my inventory public again (I made it private in the first place to avoid people posting phishing links) 3 months ago and appealed for an unban and there is still no response.

I know the FAQs say: As soon as possible but 3 months wait time does NOT make any sense.

Outpost takes low priority for rule breakers, huge or small, if you've broken a rule you get placed into the system, it doesn't filter out bans, you'll have to wait for your turn.

Keep in mind Steam Support employees get paid and are in a far more vast amount, the Outpost appeal team is contributing their own free time and is small.

The problem is that in my case the ban system was automated. I didn't even try to post a new trade while my inventory was set to private so the way I see it, is that the unban should also be automated and even if it had to be done manually, it shouldn't take 3 MONTHS!
And by the way, I've already appealed and updated the ticket 3 times and there is not response at all. It appears as if I am talking to myself.

Also what is written sounds very weird:
You have been banned permanently by sirploko. The reason for this ban is as follows:

No private profiles or backpacks. You will be subject to a permanent ban until you make your profile and backpack public again. This includes both your game-specific and Steam inventories.

The words "permanent" and "until" do not mix I think!

"The words "permanent" and "until" do not mix I think!"

It translates to basically "You'll be banned until you make your profile public again", unless you quoted that in sarcastic intent.

From what I know, Outpost bans are done when a users reports another one, so it isn't automatic.

Honestly, all I can tell you is to wait, this a problem commonly reported on the forums so you're probably not getting a different answer, any other authorization I have is to voice my personal opinion on the matter, but that won't help anyone.

Usually permanent ban means it can't be undone but yeah maybe it is just a wording thing.

It is still weird that somebody may have reported me for having a private inventory WHILE I am not listing any active trades and mods would go and ban me so easily and then it takes months to unban with no responses at all during that long period of time.

It seems weird to me -- when i was using TF2OP, i saw alot of ppl got banned for this reason and after they change their bp to public once again , they get unbanned when the appeal admin check it.

It takes few days not 3 months , lmao.

try to add one of those ppl who deals with appealz ;

Banned : https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/banned1337/
Garry : https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/Garryyy/

and good luck mate!
