Also, you were NOT banned for KNOWINGLY trading with scammer/scammer alts, your ban states "Knowing whom you trade with is your responsibility at all times."
As I said, if you are coming to complain, at least get your story straight.
I can't help to notice that you're taking taking this a little bit too personal, I don't intend to lie or misrepresent, I just want to get this figured out and move on, let's not get too heated about it.
I was being generic with my ban reason as you did not trade with an obvious scammer/scammer alt as it stated. The FACT is, it was a MARKED SCAMMER, which we discussed.
The fact that we have a "SR+" next to everyone's name is so you can check. Quite simply , you didn't. Thus, had you bothered to look, it would have been OBVIOUS.
The FACT that you admitted you didn't check as you were just looking "gain some quick profit like I always do"....these are your words, not mine.
Also, if you recall, I was very specific what an appeal was. 1. you make an appeal if you think the Moderators judgement was wrong. In this case, it clearly is not.
Or 2, to hope that the Appeals Admin will lower your sentence.
For whatever reason Garry did or did not reply to what you wrote on his profile is no indication on how busy he is, or whether or not he did or did not look at your comment or your appeal.
We get literally hundreds of reports per day, and we all volunteer to do this in our free time to help the trading community to be a safer place.
As far as me being heated, trust me, you haven't even begun to see me get heated. But I will be damned if I'm going to listen to some whiney comments bashing Outpost, their Admins, Mod or the rest of the support staff. Being a member here is a privileged, NOT A RIGHT.
We have rules, and they are simple and easy to follow. You claiming you were tired, or you forgot is not an excuse that absolves you of these rules. Next time, follow them and you won't have to worry about being banned ever again.
I will not reply to you anymore, Toughsox, as you said to me, appeals are not your responsibility and I don't see anything positive in ending up in bad terms with someone like yourself.
2. Answering your support ticket, no, there is not anything you can do. Main Rule #8:
By using our site you automatically agree to our rules, and we do not let things go simply because you told us about it.
3. Being online on Steam does not mean available to do voluntary work. We have real lives, and many of us keep the computer on all day long. Some of us even work while Steam is offline. If you base ticket response time on staff's online time then you will always be off.
