Can't load Item Images on Outpost
When i'm on tf2Outpost most if not all the images on there don't show up.
Where the image of say a hat, misc or other item should be there's just a white rectangle.
Upon selecting "Inspect Element" in Google Chrome the console quickly lights up with heaps of errors all saying:
Failed to load resource: (Then here it'll have some random item EG)
http://media.steampowered.com/apps/440/icons/fwk_soldier_seacaptain.119863cfd78fbe663bcda8735c0c2c8e9fdee545.png
net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
And the console gives the same error for every nearly every item and so i can't view what's what on Outpost.
If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

It seems there is a connection problem between your computer and Steam's servers. There is not sure way to fix this.

Did you do the equip region glitch? If so its caused by that and you an fix it by verifying tf2s game cache.
I did do the equip region glitch.
I'll try that and get back to you, thank you.
Okay so i did that and, no go. Didn't do anything unfortunately so still trying to figure it out.
I have noticed though that on my laptop everything works fine but my desktop only has the issue.

The quip region glitch is definately the cause of the images missing, just go back to the document you edited and remove the parts you added in.
Since the update i no longer can locate the modified files. I check the integrity and came back with no issues. I tried searching for the file that was changed but couldn't locate.

If i remember correctly the file you're looking for is in Program Files [86x] > Steam > steamapps > common > Team Fortress 2 > tf and the file is called tf2_scripts_000. Edit out anything that says:

127.0.0.1 media.steampowered.com
::1 media.steampowered.com

Also check for those steampowered links in your host file at Windows > System 32 > drivers > etc (make sure to run notepad as an administrator)

I don't have the "tf2_scripts_000" File. That's my issue

No its not, no file that belongs to TF2 can interfere with your external webbrowser, you still have that redirect in your systems hosts file, get rid of that to fix your webbrowser. If then your TF2 isnt working then you can worry about missing TF2 files.

You should check C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts and remove those lines if they're in that file.
Found and removed the "127.0.0.1 media.steampowered.com ::1 media.steampowered.com" files. The issue is now resolved, thank you very much!
