Are Backpack.tf and Steamcomunity links banned now?
Just got one of my trades closed by staff because of links to third party websites. it just seemed a bit random as that trade had been up for over a month with 4,600 views. I thought as those websites are so obviously to do with trading they would be allowed?

Please do not make trades with....
Links to third-party websites, apart from relevant YouTube or image hosting websites.
Obviously if your trade was closed because of third party links, backpack.tf links are going to fall under that rule.

None of your trades was closed by a staff member. Classified listings count as advertizing.

it was for a key banking bot and I had a link to my bots backpack so people could see how much key/metal it had easy on backback.tf not a classified listing

Just read the reason why your trade was closed. "Trades with links to third-party websites, apart from relevant YouTube or image hosting websites is not allowed." Backpack.tf is a competitor site, so advertising the inventory on backpack.tf instead of tf2outpost is against the rules.

You can just link the bots inventory through tf2outpost.
