Time between posting greatly increased.
Just wondering what happened. One day I could reply to a post every 10 seconds, now it tells me 30, 40, and 50 seconds. What caused the times to be bumped up so greatly? Being able to reply every ten seconds was very helpful when replying to a lot of posts in a row.

I'd say the more you try breaching the flood protection the higher the system sets the wait time to. Waiting a few seconds more for each post won't really make you miss any trades.
Its not setup right, posting in your own trades should not be limited. When people get back home and have to answer a bunch of posts, it becomes rather annoying when you could finish up answering a bunch of posts in a minute or two, but it gets stretched out because the timer keeps blocking your posts..in your own trades. People try to do a lot of things at once to save time, and this just wastes it:P

Disabling the timer on someone's own trades. Because you wouldn't want to spam yourself anyways.

I feel when posting on your own trade.. replying etc you shouldn't be limited by a timer, as this is an inconvenience when replying to offers on your trade as quick as possible. A timer with posting on other trades (Offers) seems suitable to abolish spamming.

Own trades are no longer affected by this restriction. And please do not necrobump.

I just tried, still getting the timer on my own trades, and it seems to have increased.

Increased how? You shouldn't be getting any timers on your own trades, sounds like a bug.

I posted once and when I posted again right after it said 86 seconds. Which is far more than it used to.

Was it the same trade, or different trades?
WhiskeyWerewolf 11 Mar, 2014 @ 9:56am
It was on the same trade.

Been trying for a while now, the timer still applies to every one of my own trades, as well as cross-trade.

This looks like it confirmed my initial fear that the backend servers are all out-of-sync. I've sent this to Operations so that they can take a look at it - it shouldn't be a huge thing to fix, but might take a few days for them to get around to it.
