Add on steam button broke.
Hello! :D:
well, first of all, I use Outpost on chrome. but recently that one little "+" sign which allows you to add people directly without going to their profile broke for me. I've been spam clicking that button but it just doesn't add that person. If you're using Dota2lounge,you would know about the "Add bot and wait" option when returning items, yeap, that broke too. I've been seeing alot of threads like these, but all of them says it;s a browser issue, and i can't seem to find a solution to this. It was working fine a few weeks back :( my chrome doesnt seem to know what to "do" with the steam://friends/add/ URL,can anyone tell me how to redirect it to steam app? :(

doesn't seem to work..well,thanks.Btw, is there a way to make the "launch application" pop up reappear? Like when you use outpost for the first time and use the "add on steam" option, there's a pop up saying launch steam to add players.
You probably deactivated the warning sent by the browser for these protocol handlers. You need to check your browser settings.

erm,how do i do that? im using chrome.
C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data

Edit the "Local State" file. Find the line containing "steam" and edit its value to true.

Chrome must be closed for this to take effect, because chrome dumps to that file when it closes.

That's the workaround I know.

A so Late fix.. I followed Blue Screen's Guide and all I did was delete the ["steam": true,"]
save and re opened the browser

I have the same problem since yesterday. I tried to fix it like Blue Screen of Dea†h explained but i couldn't even find 'steam' in the local state file :/
