Is it allowed to create one quickbuy trade per class ?
Basically 9 quickbuy trades in total.
Would just like to have a clear answer now since i am not sure wether it's against the relisting rule.
Thanks =)

Why not use a unusual random craft hat icon ?

well, more trades = more adds and actual deals, i don't have a problem having only one trade (with unusual offers / unusual craft hat), but i would change it to 9 trades if it was allowed.

So basically 1 quickbuy trade and 8 relists of that same trade then?

The thought is one quickbuy trade per class. i want to know, wether it's considered as relist.

Not my call, but if your intention is to get more exposure from 9 trades when you're well aware it can be done with 1 trade, as suggested by

then it sounds like a relist to me. The problem with relists, which is one of the reasons so many people hate outpost, and likely the main reason for the rule prohibiting them, is it drowns out other people's trades.

It's especially bothersome with "quicksell" trades, because people have to scroll through page after page, often looking at the same people's "quicksell only" trades before finding a decent deal. A lot of people have become so frustrated with that they wrote userscripts to filter out donators[userscripts.org] and in one case built a whole new website[bazaar.tf] from the ground up to compete with outpost. Sure, the frustrated people who give up filtering through all the garbage and settle for a bad deal are what make such trades profitable, but you have to think about the other people posting fair offers (and only one, mind you) and the users trying to find those trades.

I think that's slightly offtopic. I simply want a yes or no, wether this is allowed or not, from the staff. Thanks

No relists. Relisting is creating multiple trades for the same purpose or listing the same item in multiple trades excessively. You cannot have multiple trades open with the same goal, and you cannot have an excessive number of trades open for the same item.
"Relisting is creating multiple trades for the same purpose. You cannot have multiple trades open with the same goal."

Pretty self explainatory. All your trades would serve the same purpose. If you wanted to buy only 1 specific unusual hat for Heavy and another another one for Spy it wouldn't be a relist even though you could create one trade for both. Your intentions are to buy any quicksell hat and you're using classes as an excuse to give more exposure to yourself which is the main purpose of all relists.

Like Blue Screen said, I would suggest using the any craft hat icon.

A very similar situation to this happens to be on the forums as well:

Yes, sorry if I wasn't clear.

Having one trade for each class essentially means that one is interested in any hat, hence my reply. The classes are just an excuse to get more exposure. This practice is indeed classified as relisting, and as many other types of relists, it is heavily abused and echoes "but everyone does it" on the majority of ban appeals.

Alright, thanks a lot for the replies.
