Why autobump someone's trades at the same rate as premium, every 30 minutes, if they are not online and haven't even been online for a day or so? That needs to stop. Its clogging the front page.

Because that's what they paid for. Besides detecting if someone is online or not isn't entirely accurate.
Backpack.tf does it by weather you have the link opened in your browser, doesn't it?
That still doesn't guarantee that a trader is online when their trade is autobumped. They could be afk or left the comp running over night.
Simply keep the items you listed in a different location of your bp and don't trade them.
This has already been suggested multiple times.
I think many other features have priority over this.
Online status is cached and this won't change. Therefore the end result of your suggestion would be inaccurate.
