I made 3 new trades within the last 2 hours, none of them had autobump turned on. For anyone who isn't a mod or vip, this seems to be the default setting now, unfortunately.
Did you try a hard refresh to update all the css and stuff?
Why? A hard refresh only makes sense if I didn't get the new behaviour. This is the exact opposite, the problem IS the new behaviour. This happens since the update, meaning that whatever new files came with that, they are quite obviously in effect already. Otherwise my trades would still show the old behaviour (i.e. they'd be set to autobump by default).
Unless there was an unannounced patch to the big update, a hard refresh would just get me those new files again with their default "autobump off"-setting.
If this was indeed a bug I think we would have a lot more people complaining, so far only the three of you showed up.
Also, you can't say the new files are responsible for the autobump to be off, it could be exactly the opposite. I don't know how it is coded but it could be a JS file needing an update, hence a refresh would fix the problem.
Maybe you could ask someone who worked on the update to look into it?
I certainly don't dismiss anything brought up by the users. I just mentioned that because when only a small group report a problem it's usually due to an issue on the client end. A bug, on the other hand, would affect everyone equally and, considering we have thousands of premium members, a greater number of people would be complaining about it.
I'll ask Sneeza about this later, as it's sleep time there now.
It's just 1 extra click, no biggie.
1. Create new trade.
2. Forget to turn autobump on.
3. Wonder why people don't add you.
4. Suddenly you can't find your trade, since it was closed after 1 week of inactivity.
The entire USP of the premium package is convenience. By the same token of "a few extra clicks", you could as well ask every premium user to bump their trades manually again as well...
