I want my premium suspended
Hey, so I really hated the per month change for premium, and since I don't use the site anymore for actual trading, I would like my premium suspended until I feel like I might actually use it.

I don't know where else to go for this, so I'm just posting here, as I can't seem to find a help email or ticket form.

Can I please get a mod comment? There is no contact form on the contact us page of tf2outpost.

Why can't it be turned off or suspended?

yeah, what I paid for was premium status, I never paid for a subscription, nor do I want a subscription. I would like my premeum suspended, as I don't see myself using this site any time in the near future.

I do not like the changes that were made to how premium works, but I am not here to raise a fist. I simply want my time suspended until I choose to use the site again.

I don't view it as "nice enough" because it is not the original think I paid for. I do understand the ToS agreements and am not trying to fight over that, however I am simply not using the website in protest of said changes, and at the same time, I do not want what I paid for to go to waste.

You keep saying it can't be turned off and on, and i'm not attempting to cheat the system by requesting it be turned off and on repeatedly. If you notice, this is my only request to turn it off ever. I consider this extremely rude, considering I had paid for permanent premium previously.

I have never seen a "subscription service" without a suspend option. This is pretty ridiculous.
You did not pay for what you have now. You donated and received perks as a thank you gesture. Therefore, what you have is a gift worth 3 times what new subscribers are paying now.

Someone previously requested their donator rank to be revoked and had their request denied. Why would the site accept your request?

Such feature would allow a great deal of abuse, and if it was my call I wouldn't simply take anyone's word for it. I suggest you make up your mind. Either stay here and deal with the fact that you have free premium for a few months (and leave afterwards if you want) or leave now. You want to "protest" by asking your privileges to put on hold... then after your "protest" is over you will come back and ask for your privileges back? How convenient.

Yep. Thats how it is. Thank you gesture or not, paying for a site like this based on a subscription model is exploitative at best.

I'm not asking you to take my word for it, check the forum threads and you will see the only other thread I have posted here was about how I don't like that you can only post 8 things per trade. Past that, i've never contacted anyone about anything.

And yes, I didn't pay for what I have now, you guys stripped me of what I paid for, something of which would have been met with a much larger outcry with a larger community, but because of the size of the userbase, relative to other websites, it was more or less shoveled onto the userbase.

Is it just that the upper management has said no? Is it that the code does not exist for it? Telling me it can't be turned off does not answer why it can't be turned off.

You are correct it's convenient, but I doubt I will come back to this site considering what I've been met with in this thread alone and the things I have encountered in my time on your website.

You are free not to pay for it. You don't need to pay to use it.

You just proved why it's not good to take someone's word for it.

You didn't pay for anything, look up the meaning of the word donation. The whole thing was a misunderstanding.

It really doesn't concern you why, you asked if it was possible and we said no, that's enough information for you to carry on with your "protest".

We are not forcing you to stay and you are wasting our time (that could have been used elsewhere) with all this ranting. If you don't want to use the site then don't. Just be reasonable and don't ask us to hold your privileges while you are at it. "Protesting" is easy when you have nothing to lose. Locked.
