Someone Innocent was Marked
Hello,

Short version: Am I allowed to submit an appeal for someone else who doesn't know anything about this and hasn't been online in almost a year? He's innocent and was impersonated. I can prove it.

I just checked my SteamRep and found that "zgeal" has been marked as a scammer due to this recent report. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/groups/tf2outpost/discussions/15/810938811009575440/

This is zgeal's main account, which is referred to in his SourceOP reputation thread. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/zgeal http://forums.sourceop.com/threads/110345-zgeal-s-rep-thread

This is the impersonator's account who is friends with the fake middleman in the faulty report. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/zgeaI

These accounts look the same here on Outpost, but if you open them, you find that zgeal's URL finishes with (in capital letters) "ZGEAL" while the impersonator ends with "ZGEAI" (I instead of L).

My biggest piece of evidence is the following proof that the real zgeal wasn't involved: He was last online 322 days ago, long before the hat in question even existed.

So I can prove his innocence and my only question now is: Am I allowed to submit an appeal on his behalf? Of course I'd modify this to be in the appropriate format.

He sold earbuds to me a long time ago and I had no problems. I'm morally opposed to ignoring this since he wasn't the scammer.

Can you email me any evidence you have regarding this case, including screenshots and whatnot? helen@tf2outpost.com I'll see what I can do about getting your friend cleared. Thanks! =)
