its just bad when someone adds you and you accept in 5 seconds and they still can't remember either price or item they wanted:P
Not what i meant. in fact, none of u seemed to understand what i was saying.
Do u really want to bet on that? Im far from being a kid, trust me i dont do that.
There are people looking for craft hats for three scraps because it's a fast trade. C'mon...
Not talking about craft hats either. I'm talking about general items being 'dramatically low priced'. Just yesterday i saw someone buying all ToD's for 1.33 each... come on, 1.33 each? hes obviously gonna resell them, and even if not, thats still pisses me off.
Even worse: I've seen someone actually buying and selling keys at the same freaking trade, while buying super cheap and selling super high (on the same trade.. !?). At least have the basic knowledge to seperating between trades so people wont see how much douche you are.
So yea, overall those are my examples, but i could give u loads of screenies everyday when i see these.
I do not understand why people have an issue with this, it's called keybanking and it's a common practice. If you need to convert your currency in another you might not find a trader right away, but there always will be keybankers which is good for everyone. If you can't be bothered to buy/sell keys yourself then you go to a keybanker, expect a bit of loss though (usually 1 scrap below/above average price). Ask yourself, what would be the point of them buying and selling for the same price? (other than free rep)

U will find literally 20 pages from each sort of trade (maybe abit less from real world currency), you're telling people will be too lazy to make a 1 minute search, so they will actually buy for higher price (or sell for cheaper)?
I also love playing mvm, does it mean i can buy for a ref each? If u dont have enough metal - your own problem, go scrapbanking... This is the same thing with quickselling unusual.
Wasnt. I checked.
its your right if someone sells and agrees to it, both parties are in the right.
you seem to be confused about whats right. maybe 1 scrap for an unusual is obviously wrong, its disproportionate on a vast scale, but quickbuy or quick sell is just a fact of nature. and you base your idea about what is right and wrong on a faulty assumption, price sites...who base their prices on busy bodies who are self motivated to find the prices they find best for themselves. most trades simply have no evidence for price sites. the population of tf2 is vast, so the few self selected samples are just that, exceptions...people considering these the bible price for things shows they don't understand how things work.
if i have say a bills on sale for 10 keys, and it sells on outpost and there is no obvious buyer what did i sell it for. you don't know what happens behind closed doors, maybe it bargained down, or maybe the guy who paid 10 never posted on the trade, as most high price buyers never do. so did a full price buyer add me, or did i take the 6 key offer who actually posted in the trade. you don't know. furthermore i couldhave 3 more bills for the same price all sold at price you don't know, but at a glance, the trade until the item goes dark, is supposed evidence of unsold product. in fact you can't even track the items which the seller has multiple of but doesn't list in the trade, you can only click on the item history of the one in the icon, if there are more in stock, who knows where they went, and the rest could even be in another backpack all together, anyways people on tf and such aren't going to do that kind of digging thats for sure.
so when people base their outrage on what they think is the "known" price, just stop pretending you know as much as you think you do;)
If you wish to buy for 1 ref, be my guest. Nobody will sell to you though when others are paying much higher. You said he's "obviously" gonna resell without checking or providing any proof, that's merely an assumption from your part. Some people just refuse to aknowledge the fact that prices change over time, same mindset of people who want keys to be 2.66 like they were a year ago. Isn't it easier to ignore such a trade than get annoyed over it? Sooner or later they will be forced to change their price anyway.
All im saying is that if u'll spend (even less than) 5 minutes on searching a key-to-metal trade (or anything else from my previous examples), u will find a decent trade with a decent pricing. Example? Assuming the price of keys is 4 - 4.22 ref, give me 5 minutes and i'll find someone which is selling for 4.22, and alot more for 4.11, So there is no point in buying from a 'fast trade' for 3.99 (example, yes?).
My main point on this discussion is that 'fast trade' is just a key word to attract costumers, knowing the trader's prices are crap. Same idea goes with those unusual sellers which gives u a sh*t load of story on their notes so u will 'fall in love' with their unusual, and then overpricing it.
I said previously (not to you) that i can give many examples of these kind of trades.. Let me know if u want to see clearly what i mean, and i'll find some.
Sarcasm.. should have a special font.
