Can I stop trading without getting "banned"? (profile privacy ban)
I want to stop trading and turn my profile settings to friends only. Last time I did that though it showed that I was banned from Outpost. I get that, but I was unable to browse as well for having a 'private backpack'. It's just a petty question but I'd prefer it to be something like 'closed' or something else. Is there a way I can voluntarily 'close' my profile? Not delete it though, but I'd still like to be able to browse.

I'm afraid that if the Steam account associated with an OP profile has it's profile status set to private, it will be banned, with no exception.

Ah ok I understand, and thanks for the swift reply! Can I open it though if somehow I decide to trade again, by PMing a moderater and explaining the situation?

You'd have an appeal thread made, so assuming this isn't going to be a recurring event, you could appeal the ban later.
