We really need a "Last Edited"
When traders try to get proof on backpack.tf, it's sometimes tricky to tell if someone got an item for Xprice or if he recently changed his price. Letting everyone know when it was last edited would help in this case.

An edit wouldn't necessarily mean a change in price, although I do believe it would be useful. (for telling when a trade went out of stock for example)

^ Yep.
If you want something more useful, it could show the notes of before it was edited so we can tell if there was a price change or just a "Out of stock change", etc.

Supported. Many traders change their description and lead people (and price checkers) to believe that the info in the trade reflects the current stock/price (and most times it doesnt).

And I believe this should go under suggestions.
