Freezing a trade without closing it.
We're all sick of seeing trades bumped where someone 'isn't buying atm', but when trades are closed due to inactivity all the time, this is pretty much the only way to keep your big trades open.
I, for one, would love the ability to freeze/pause my trade (and hide it from search results) without it closing permanently. Anybody else?

Maybe turn off the autobump.

Won't fix you needing to rebump it once a week to avoid closure.

If you have a trade that you dont need to bump once in a week, simply close it. There's no point in leaving it up for so long if you're not going to trade anyway. And I don't think it's too hard to remake it after 2-3 weeks if you get items you want to sell.

turning off auto-bump would still make it close for inactivity after a week, wouldn't it?

What about those people running stores or providing services who might say, need to go on holiday, or run low on metal temporarily? Remaking your trade isn't a positive thing for those guys, especially when they have a lot of bookmarkers.

Realistically speaking, how often do you go say on a holiday for more than a week? Even if you do, chances are there's a wifi hotspot or some place where you get access to the Internet so you can log in once a week and bump the trades that you don't want closed.

why not make them pay a key per week for being excempt from unlisting?

well the reason he doesent want to remake his trade is that we will possibly lose some of the bookmarks he got. and the people that bookmarket that special trade might have a hard time finding it again if they dont remember the name of the trader
