Advice
I want to buy a strange grenade launcher, and I was hoping you guys could give me some advice. Should I buy a strange festive grenade launcher, which would probably also be a good investment if I buy it when the TF2 holiday season is over, or should I buy a normal strange one? My fear is that a new crate will come out soon containing the grenade launcher again, and then I would like I had paid way too much for it.

What do you think?

If you are going to dedicate time to trading, and become good at it, get the SF version in a few days, the prices will be lower. Just avoid getting it on the 4th or the 5th, since you get all those "soon to be discontinued, 1 Flames TC each" trades.

My reasoning behind this is, is that when you are able to easily afford a SF GL, you may have over 2,000-3,000 kills on your GL, and may not want to part with it, even if you could farm the new one. The same situation occurred to me, with my knife after 2011 Christmas.

In the end, it's your choice, but the GL is overdue for a re-release and other popular stranges, for example, the RL have already been re-released.

wait for the new crate containing a s. gl to come out, and buy it for a ref.

@ champ, its quite easy to farm kills especially on a GL, so i wouldnt really worry about that.
