Striking it rich

I see players who are fairly newer than me carrying unusuals and buds. Heck this kid i play with on another server is a squeaker and he has buds, a bills hat and a fast learner. My question is. How do you strike it rich in tf2...Like whats the secret to blow everyone in the dust so to speak. Please leave me some feedback, thanks :)

buy cheap sell hight, that all. or scamming if you want it faster..

Also, i have been telling my friends i would take their items and sell them a scrap- rec higher depending on its spreadsheet price. they get spreadsheet amound and i get the scrap/rec/ref or extras from trade. Earlier i bought a botkiller rifle f 2 ref when it was worth a key. i can sell it off and make a profit. i also had the idea of selling a weapon for 2 weps(scrap) and do the same thing again and then sell the weps for a decent amount...i have a couple of techniques but i need some more tricks/tips from a pro or someone who knows a few things about trading

Patience is probably a useful virtue. I am slowly becoming more familiar with trading after waiting and learning. And I can almost feel the turning point of becoming a seller rather than a buyer.
