In making this change, I removed the class selection bar and relocated the "Filter..." field. Now, there is a great reason for doing this; you can search for an item name, or alternatively you can type in a class name and it'll do the same thing that the class filter used to do. Go ahead, try it. Type "scout" and you'll only see scout items. Genius, right?
I won't be changing the update back to the old version, so people need to stop asking. This isn't aimed at OP directly, but more at everyone that opposes change (reminds me of every single Facebook update to be honest). I'll constantly be tweaking stuff, and I take your opinions into consideration when doing so.
Not sure why though.
well...........type SCOUT is a solution for TF2 searching........but what about DOTA2 searching?can I type SVEN for searching?I try.....but it do not works
and the backpack lable?its a very convenient to have this..........but now.........
and....thanks for working on the site.....I love TF2 OUTPOST
Sorry, but this is a totally wrong approach and sorry this is not tweaking.
Previously searching could be done in 4 clicks: Search->Class->Item->Search
Now instead of clicking I have to type class name -> very inconvenient. I can enter tf2outpost a couple of dozens times within one hour - and each time i have to type class name/items name before I can search? This is absolutely awful, not to say more.
Replacing clicks with typing = bad idea
I don't think I will use outpost as much as I used to - type EACH time I enter the site - ridiculous.
And you now also have to select every single square manually when making a wishlist or searching. I.e. you can't just click the key icon 6 times, you now have to do twice more clicks.
What's next? Will we have to type "create trade" or "post comment" instead of just pressing a button in the nearest future?
But saying that "The site cannot be exactly how EVERY person wants it to be." is still just silly.
And by the way. How much profit do you think he gets from donations?
So yeah, that could be a full-time job.
