Being part of the group doesn't increase the trade slots
According to the announcement from a few days ago, members of this group now get +5 trade slots. But I'm still getting "You are currently using 11/15 of your trade slots." on the trade creation page. Is this happening to somebody/everybody else? Is it just a problem with that specific text and my actual trade slots have increased? (I don't want to create fake trades in order to test it)

You start with 5 trades, you get 5 more for joining this group and another 5 for being a level 1 donator. The counter is fine.

When was the base number changed from 10 to 5? I must have missed it.

Yea, im a level 2 donator and have 20 slots. So what norby said is right.

It's always been 5, 10 if you joined this group at some point. That announcement is not "from a few days ago", it has been like this as far as I remember. You've already increased your limit so you won't be getting another extra 5 trades unless you donate more.

Ah, so I must have joined the group before I first saw how many trade slots I had. Alright, thank you for clearing that up.
