New Layout Discussion
Reminder that this thread is for general discussion - we have a bugs section, if there's a bug, follow the sticky and make a thread. Likewise, there's a suggestions section.

General discussions of this update outside this thread will be locked.
Some things that are coming:

We'd like to hear your thoughts on the new layout, what to improve and such. Please try to separate yourself from nostalgia for the old layout when you do so :wizard:. Here are a list of things we're doing.

Known Bugs
1. Tooltips can sometimes overflow the window if your monitor is small. - Fixed
2. People can 'view farm' on trades (although I have no idea why you would). Fixed
3. Themes aren't working - this isn't really a priority right now.
4. Autobumping isn't working. - Fixed
5. Can't delete items from trades. - Fixed
6. Page navigation on Bookmarks goes to the wrong page. - Fixed
7. Can't click user's avatar or links when unhiding a post. - Fixed
8. Giftwraps show empty "Contains: ". Fixed
9. Couldn't upload attachment images / click on them Fixed
10. Can't see text behind "tick" and "!" icons. - Fixed

Functionality
1. No /find tool. - Done
2. No "Add user on Steam" button. - Done
3. Wiki link & stats on item summaries. - Done
4. Quick-search button on summaries. - Done
5. No original item ID on summaries. - Done
6. No /matches page. - Done
7. "Add to steam"/backpack on comments. - Done
8. Needs more item specific info on summaries (lacking detail). - Done
9. Add an option to hide the network bar.
10. Fully reintegrate appeal system. - Done

If stats are coming back (I hope so) could we get links to stats.tf and tf2stats.net, each is good for different things.

I have no idea what's going on, but I assure you, I like it. I'm really happy that sneeza implemented many (if not all) of my suggestions! Of course, they were probably quite popular opinions, but still. This is the update that this site really needed. It's the biggest TF2 trading site, that didn't have a fully optimized and convenient layout, but that has changed! Great job and thanks for the update!

Could you make some of the icons and font brighter/lighter; it's slight harder to see due to the lack of contrast ATM

And no "Most Traded"; totally useless as the items will ALWAYS be the same. Make the trade wider instead.

Love the look BTW :D

I really like the ability to limit/filter the homepage view by trades that contain vintage/unusual/gen/ etc.

Also, is there a way of contacting sneeza? I would love to send him a couple more suggestions along with a few photoshopped concepts. Would that be possible?

seriously, why did they make a new layout? they were having so much trouble with the old one, let alone make a new one..... the new 1 is way to dark.. u cant see some darker effects... the dotaoutpost is pointless.... overall HORRIBLE

Also, the user name on an offer is not linking properly to the user profile. (because of this i noticed there was no bug report button)

Please bring back /matches, it's going to be a pain entering items in the search every time I want to find someone who is offering for my item, and I'm sure it's going to bothersome for people who want to buy items as well. Also, clicking on each number in the item history brings up a new popup on the page, and it's really annoying.

wherever there is a person shown, in outpost porfile, outpost backpack, trade, the related offers on trades, replies, etc., it'd be nice to have the links to steam profile, SR, outpost backpack and direct steam add back.
