It won't happen. I've made many comments and even a thread or two to hopefully get people to read the notes. You just have to deal with it; a global announcement won't fix stupidity.

This is all true i closed my hat post for now hopefully he can do something to fix this really annoying with new people. I rather search for dirty hats then get random annoying its lol.

There isn't any way to fix it. No global announcement will fix people not reading. People could just not read the global announcement as well. It's like the deal with the phishers. There is no real way to fix it that doesn't inconvenience everyone and doesn't even do anything but make the general use of the site, well, harder.

Thing is the notes look like a normal post right now. On the main page both the items in the trade and the notes are in one box while on the trade they're seperated.

Well, you would think notes on a trade site is common and people will read but we thought wrong. My suggestion would be to make the icons on the right that are uncraftable have the same border option as the icons on the left do. Where you can pick if you want uncraftable items or clean get my meaning. But, also Dark i said I agree with the people above you and they basically said the same thing as you lol.

i would like to see a system that theres no chat allowed but only offers within your backpack something like bazaar tf is using but not notes whatsoever not from sellers either buyers side. i am surprised noone sees the benefits of that idea.

Well i am a website coder/designer but I haven't figured out how to do what these guy's have. Been confusing trying to figure this stuff out lol. I'm use to stuff like Wordpress and other CMS softwares.

Look, i wish people would read the notes... But in all honesty, sellers need to shorten the notes. You know the average resume gets 7-8 second? If you want people to read your stuff, shorten the notes and format to make it easier to read. People write these 5 paragraph essays and expect people to study it...not happening.

I have short notes I do stuff like 5.66refs for 1 key only add me. Simple shit like that. But they still think i have more or want different items. They just need to learn how to read sorry gaming isn't for the blind.

Meh the ones that bug me recently are the ones that are store trades... I was looking for a strange etranger, the guy had the icon not blanked out, but inside hehad a 2+ page long of list of items he was selling, and the thing was not in stock, yet he didn't blank out the icon. annoying as hell.

Plus many of the people I added for the etranger didn't have it in stock. I had literally 6 people tell me they sold it hours ago before i found one to buy...and of course all of them failed to maintain their trades.

YES!! There should be a character limit in the item descriptions.
