Unable to log into TF2Outpost.com

Away from home during the summer, so I tried logging into tf2outpost.com to edit a trade of mine. But got this error yesterday, and getting it today.

"Error code: 0x0501 — Steam's OpenID server is currently offline — please try again in a few minutes."

The summer sale is slamming Valve's servers so hard that they're essentially experiencing a denial of service attack. I too was having some trouble with this, waited a few hours and then tried again. Best of luck!

I have the exact same problem. yesterday(8 hours ago) i couldnt log in on outpost. and now i still can't log in...? but i can log in on backpack.tf....

I logged into other sites but can't log into outpost

EDIT - I just logged in after ~10 mins of trying. it's just steam's servers probably.

This is due to the extreme load of people using Steam during the Summer Sale which means Valve's servers are loaded too. Once the sale hype ends it'll get better. It's nothing OP can fix.
