Donators and embedded videos
Why can't donators embed videos? I feel like TF2 Outpost would get more donations if donators could add videos :)

Donations are disabled indefinitely.

That's a feature reserved to the staff and VIPs. Imagine 300,000 people posting videos of all kind? No, thanks.

The about page says they're personal friends of Sneeza. Former admins were also given that status. For some reason, when I resigned as a mod I was too. The same goes for Dead4lyfe

Oh, that's sad :( Hopefully there'll be an update giving more people the option to embed videos :)

Yeah, that's never going to happen, for the precise reason that BSoD said in the first post on this thread. Videos will remain VIP/Staff only.

Music videos. Not mainstream stuff like Kanye and Rihanna, but lesser known bands like Passion Pit, Florence + The Machine (although they are fairly mainsteam now -_-) and Explosions in the Sky.

Why don't we remove the autoplay option for everyone but VIPs and Staff? That way people will still need to physically click on your video for it to play and it won't be annoying.

Why don't we remove the autoplay option for everyone but VIPs and Staff? That way people will still need to physically click on your video for it to play and it won't be annoying.
I'm upset that the videos can be hidden at all

It's not hidden. Your speakers won't automatically blare all the videos as soon as you click into a trade; you'll need to manually press "Play".
