Ignoring you. -.-
Okay, I wanted to ask someone about this because it's been bothering me quite a bit.
I'm sorta new to TF2 Outpost and sometimes I'll find people who say: "Add me on Steam for a quick trade."
So, I make sure they've still got the item I'm interested in, write in the offers section "added for 'x' item", and then finally add them.
Often they respond instantly and the trade goes smoothly. :spycon:

Other times however, I wait over a day, send them another friend request, and find out they're ignoring me.
I understand that some of the big traders have bots to do the work for them, but so far I've steered clear of them. I'm talking about the people who specifically ask to be added.
Why would they even instruct people to add them for a 'fast' trade if they aren't even willing to accept random friend requests? Do they have some reason why or are they just plain morons?

Confused, but mostly annoyed.

If you add someone and then remove before the user accepts your request, whenever you try to add this user again Steam will say the user is ignoring you. It happens quite often and it's not the user's fault (it's in fact your fault for adding and changing your mind before the other party reaches you).

The only way to fix this (that I know of) is asking the user to add you.

You can also block the user and unblock them. Fixes it right up :)

OMG, thx for that tip..Now I know how to fix an accidental block.

BTW, just because it says "add me for quick trade" doesn't mean it will always be quick.
The user can't stare at his computer 24/7..and if he watches a video in full screen mode, then they can't see steam.

Add me for quicktrade just means it will be faster then "replying on outpost, then adding them, and finally trading".

Current trading process:
1. Find a good trade
2. Add the trader
3. Hope he doesn't delete you

I understand that people can't always be available for trade, but I'm talking about instances where the seller bumps up their trade, and then they don't login to Steam for the next week or so. I don't get it...
