Does putting your unusual on the market dupe it?
Because I put it on and off the market and then it said my name twice in the history. Please reply back, thanks

No. The only (known) way to dupe an item is to have it granted by Steam Support.

It's not duped. A duped hat is one which has two in existance of. If someone gets hijacked, Valve will restore their inventory, but not delete the old one, so there's two of the same hats. Yours was just placed on the market and retrieved.
