Steam cards not appearing right
For example you are looking for certain types of cards in the steam inventory. For example you are looking for "trading cards". You type in the name and the card appears but in form of a "game card" only. Some cards appears in both forms or more (foil, trading card, game card etc) but some only in one type. This is a problem because when people put up a trade they are mostly trading cards. But when you look for them only game cards appear. So you can't find the right trade :(

I believe it's the same thing with cards.

Thats not right. Trades have been made. I've made trades for cards that are trading cards but when I search all I find are game cards. I've also seen new trades on the front page so. They are also popular so I think its unlikely that no one has made a trade yet.

Try typing in the exact name as it appears in your inventory.

Maybe It helps better if I give an example. I have this problem with most of portal2 cards. Some you can find as a "trading card" which is what you want. They also appear as a "game card" at the same time. But portal2 cards however appear as "game card" only which isn't right.

In your case (Trading Card) is the correct one, the other 2 are deprecated. Valve changed the name of cards a couple times but they remained in TF2OP database.

The presence of a Steam inventory item on TF2OP depends on it being added to trades by the users. There's no official schema for these items.

And the existence of two separate instances of the same thing is Steam's fault. I don't remember exactly what happened (Sneeza said something about that a while ago but I lost track of it) but I'm sure it was not supposed to be like this. The "Game Card" items should be ignored.
