You should be able to provide the proof on the actual site, just tell the administrators that you got your account back with as much evidence as possible so that they can easily see that you do indeed have the account in your control. The Steam Support ticket should be enough if I am not mistaken, but remember be patient as the admins have many other responsibilities.
