Same here. Lol, maybe calling someone gay considered as offensive. But this ? Lol. I actually sold 4 of these sets. And people were offering. So both i was really selling, and i had lots ''LOL'' messages. People liked it, it was funny. A gay person (or homosexual if you are offended) would laugh at this too. And also, i was selling something available in steam. Its my right to make any sets of items, and put them on sale.

Also, 2 days ban's ? Seriously ? I had a lot of trades going on and i had to trade. For this reason i am not able to now ? Great.

This is getting absolutely ridiculous, the number of ban appeals is piling up in the general discussion sections. Folks, when you get banned you can appeal the ban right on the site, NOT HERE!

Did you not see what I said? The ban appeal on the site was broken. Everytime I refreshed the page to type something it said it was closed and reposted my original reply asking why I was banned.

It is not broken. It's a form page. If you fill it with data, submit and then refresh it the data is sent again (browsers do that automatically). That's why it sends the same thing multiple times.

I new rule is being added to the forum rules to forbid site ban appeals.

As for the ban reason, this is similar to using objectors to gain attention, along with other things.

The item should attract attention by itself. If you had changed the letters order to YAG it would be a totally different thing. People are using this "artifact" to get attention to other items too, such as unusuals and promos, just like objectors used to. This will not be tolerated.

Some people are offended by these trades, and we also have a good share of young users. The word itself may not be offensive "as is", but it leads to many problems and reports that could be easily avoided by changing the letters order. And if the buyer wants to spell "GAY" he can always buy the letters, no matter what the trade's letter placement is.

Well... It was closed, so I could no longer comment. Regardless I was selling the set of emoticons, not being an attention grabber~ If people find it offensive, which they shouldn't, I'll not be making another one of these trades. I do however think that gay isn't a bad word and shouldn't be treated as such, as a member of the LGBT community myself. However, I understand the impracticality of teaching everyone on the internet that... TL;DR I'd like to be unbanned, I understand the perception of my supposed wrongdoing, and while I disagree, I won'tbe making the same mistake twice.

Again... my trade notes: "It's ok to be gay. It's even more ok to buy this set from me for 2 ref"
