Please show trades accurately
I would like to make a suggestion to the community as a whole, since this happens a lot. If you're selling something for 2 keys, please create your trade as such. When your trade shows 1 key and 2 ref, it makes people think you're selling it for 1 key and 2 ref. It's a waste of time to go inside trades to find out that the shown trade is not really what's being asked for. Thanks

I just asked one person and he specifically said that it's the only way to draw attention. I don't know if I'm the only one, but if I see something like that, whether it's the real world or tf2outpost, I'm not buying your product.

It is already against the rules to create misleading trades.

Please report trades that do so.

Not sure if I have enough time to do that, but I'll try. It literally happens all the time. :)
It really does depend on what they are trading though, considering there are only 6 slots to put what they want in return. If they are selling one key but they only put 1 refined in then I would say report them. But if they are selling something like a BMOC worth around 14 keys, then obviously you wouldn't be able to fit the B/O there. You can also take advantage of the "see notes" feature which allows you to look at their notes without going I to a trade.

There's nothing wrong with that, it's just another way of saying "selling keys for metal". It's when you get specific and you put 5 ref 2 rec in the wishlist and then sell your keys for 6 ref that it gets annoying.

Either put the exact amount or use items symbolically. As nobody expects to find someone selling keys for 1 ref, it's the only way to keep your trade open for months without having to recreate it every time you change your price by a scrap.

Oh I see now, thanks for clearing it up norby.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I can live with someone having multiple items and the wishlist not being correct, but when they have one item and clearly have enough room to put in the right amount, that it bothers me.
