Saying Goodbye
Does anyone else race person you've just traded to delete them off your friends list? Like you each say "nice trading with you, bye" and then you're searching your friends list like "damn where is this guy gotta get him before he gets me" and when they get there first and it's all "RandomTrader is offline" in the window you're all "man that guy's fast" or does it seem rude when they go offline so quickly because personally I like to race them it's like a game for me.

Yeah that's a part of it, when I sell someone something I'm not all "So how about them politics huh?", just be polite and say bye, but once it's over my heart starts racing, clicking as fast as I can to defriend them, just wondering if anyone else plays the game too.

I always race them, and I keep my friends list to just people I actually know, so I usually win.
That must be sweet, I tried that but going through my list to delete people, "oh we played CS on the same server for ages that one time I can't delete him", collecting friends like I'm collecting random weps here. The new nickname feature seems to work really well for random traders, just nick them as you add them with the reason for trading.

I have the window up as soon as I add them. But generally I go through my friends list every so often and if I can't remember them within 5 seconds I remove them.
Well I don't delete anyone, so I got ALOT of freinds
I just say "Thanks, have a nice day!" and close the window, but I don't remove them anymore, if they do it's ok, but I rather do a massive clean up from time to time, than having to remove people one by one every time, maybe it's just me...

I do the same, most of my trading is for cash, so keeping buy who I know I can sell to always helpful

I tend to remove people when I'm bothered or remember to do so (usually I keep in touch with like-minded traders, quite beneficial). It's not a race for me. I you're going to remove me first, thanks for doing me a favour. :P

If you're both done with the trade and there's nothing else to talk about, why should one person expect the other not to remove them? Makes no sense. =/

I put my real friends into a "real friends" group and then i know who to delete

I find it rude if someone deletes me directly after trade but i dont mind it if its like 5 mins later. personally, i like to keep my contacts for future trades
