When I look for stuff on ebay.com and they say they dont ship overseas, I go and ask them if they would be willing to ship to EU, 70% of the time they say yes, and tell me how much shipping would be, when you see a trade with bold huge letters "I dont take anything else but metal/keys" it might not seem like a great idea (I don't usually even post there) but I guess they think, I'll make my offer and if no one else offers at least the seller can think about selling it to me (at least if they offer an overpay in items), so I don't see that as trolling, more like they really want that but they just can't afford it without adding items, I don't think clicking "hide post" is such a hard job for you whenever that happens, it would be much worse to make mods babysitting your trades, instead of looking for scammers
I also think those who have rules like "if you lowball you'll get reported" should be the ones getting banned instead. They have ridiculously high prices and when someone offers them a fair trade they get real mad. It's not in the rules, so don't abuse the report system and stop wasting moderator's time.
I'm sure admins have far better things to do than delete posts that you could hide anyway.
That's completely irrelevant, it's in the rules to be polite to your fellow traders and not call them any names. Yes it can be considered disrespectful not to read the OPs notes but offering something other than what you asked for isn't crossing any line and certainly can't be called trolling, unless the person is doing it on purpose to annoy you. Most of the times though that isn't the case so you'll have to learn to deal with it yourself.
You're deluded.
Outside of U trading, barely anyone puts offers in their wishlist.
Because that's a bit more efforts. And because we know that people will offer random shit anyway. The base assumption is that a trade is up for negotiation. Because prices are fuzzy AND always shifting. Because this is a barter economy. Because there are probably tens of other traders offering the same shit as you do for suspiciously similar prices and a good chunk of them are less picky than you.
In other words : You are not wallmart. Deal with it.
You want wallmart ? Here it is[tf2wh.com] (well the closest we have anyway)
The reason a racist rant would be against the rules and moderated is that racist rants are bound to hurt someone's feelings at some point. (grossly simplified)
Now tell us Gee. Why would you make that comparison ? Is it that people offering a bunch of uncraftable hats instead of luscious raw metal are actually hurting you ? What is your brain made off ? Why is it unacceptable to you to merely click that little hide cross ?
